David was someone who carried his heart and maintained his intimacy with God through all the seasons of his life – in success, failure, trial, victory, temptation, etc.
Isaiah 55:3 makes it clear that he is the ideal model for a people of God who are wholehearted and faithful unto the Lord. We can learn much as we study his life from 1 and 2 Samuel.
