Mask Wearing

We exhort all who visit to be socially responsible and mindful of their current health status. As long as you are coughing, sneezing, or having a runny nose or sore throat, please wear a mask. Please avoid attending if you have a fever of 37.5 C or more.

We reserve the right to request that visitors wear a mask or to visit us another day if they exhibit symptoms that may affect others in the Prayer Room.

We thank you for assisting us to ensure that the fire on the altar is kept burning!

Children

There is no childcare provided at our Prayer Room. We request that parents take charge of watching over their children while attending prayer sessions or teachings.

As we want the House of Prayer to be a sanctuary for God’s presence, we ask all visitors to have an attitude of reverence for God while in His House. Thus, playing games, shouting, and running around are not allowed at all times in the Prayer Room.

Build A
resting place
for God

In this Isaiah 60:1–3 hour of escalating darkness and increasing glory, the Lord is looking for continuous intercession and worship across nations to arise to His throne, pushing back darkness, releasing His glory, and advancing His Kingdom.

However, more than just intercession and songs, the Lord is inviting many to grow to know and understand Him, become strong, and partner with Him to do greater works — to become the people of Daniel 11:32–33!

Thus, we are inviting singers, musicians, worship leaders and intercessors to give a season of their lives to build the House of God in Singapore and grow into becoming the Daniel 11:32–33 people.

Come journey with us and be part of what God is doing in this generation!

Email us at info@ihoponething.org to register your interest.

What is this invitation about?

This invitation is primarily about 2 things:

  1. Building a resting place for God in Singapore
  2. Starting a journey towards becoming a person of one thing (Ps 27:4) and the Daniel 11:32–33 people.

For the Lord is looking for individuals who live out a lifestyle of intimacy with God first, of pursuing holiness and wholeheartedness, of prayer, and of being in the Word, and from the place of knowing His heart, arising to partner with Him in the place of keeping the fire on the altar burning in corporate prayer, fasting, and worship.

Besides serving on your instrument in the prayer room, this journey includes growing to know God and His heart, encountering Him, and re-orienting your life and values through His Word, maturing in strength and character, and walking together with like-minded people to love Jesus. The goal is to become the kind of person He is looking for in the generation of His return.

If this has stirred your heart, email us at info@ihoponething.org to register your interest to journey and build God’s House with us!

Who are we inviting?
  1. Worship Leaders who are able to lead with an instrument (guitar or keyboard)
  2. Musicians
    • Guitarists (acoustic and electric)
    • Keyboardists
    • Bassists
    • Drummers
    • Synth players

Frequently
Asked
Questions

Why does building God's resting place include this journey of becoming the Daniel 11:32–33 people?

Building a resting place for God goes beyond building a structure/form and filling up worship and prayer "slots" in a schedule.

It has to start with our hearts becoming a resting place for God as individuals, and having the fire on the altar of our hearts burning with passion for Jesus. The journey to grow into the Daniel 11:32–33 people is for the transformation of our hearts and lives towards that.

From there, we come together corporately to build His house of prayer and establish the corporate fire on the altar. Thus, the 2 go hand-in-hand and cannot be separated.

What does this journey of growing to become the Daniel 11:32–33 people look like?

Besides serving in the prayer room, this journey includes growing deep in a lifestyle of holiness and prayer, being established in biblical foundations and messages through self-study, and times of gathering for conversation and dialogue to spur us towards loving Jesus, knowing Him, and growing strength in character and values.

How long will this journey be for?

We invite you to build and journey with us for a period of at least 6 months to 1 year, as this is more than simply "doing" worship and prayer, or to fill up slots in a prayer room schedule.

Ultimately, growing into a person of one thing and the Daniel 11:32–33 people will take time and is a process that cannot be hurried.

Will there be an audition?

Yes, there will be an audition to gauge the skill level of those who desire to journey with us. We will request that you submit a video audition.

After I register my interest, what is the process?

We will contact you and arrange a face-to-face meet-up to get to know you more, or arrange for an informational session should there be groups or teams who would like to build with us.

What are some of the key Biblical messages that I will grow in?

The messages that are meant to start you on your journey of becoming the person of one thing and the Daniel 11:32–33 people include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Intimacy with God
  • The First and Great Commandment
  • A Living Understanding of the End Times
  • Understanding Israel
  • The People of One Thing
  • The House of Prayer in the Spirit of the Tabernacle of David
  • The Sermon on the Mount (Matt 5–7)
How often will I be involved in building the House of Prayer?

We are looking at a frequency of 4 times every month (or once per week).

This will work out to an average of serving once a month, engaging in prayer in the prayer room once a month, and gathering twice a month for conversation and dialogue.

This frequency is necessary for your journey with us and to facilitate growth in a lifestyle of prayer, in the knowledge of God, in strength, understanding His heart, and partnership with Him.

Ultimately, building the House of Prayer go hand in hand with becoming mature in the Lord.

If this is something that has stirred your heart, we encourage you to make time for this journey!

What if I want to build God’s House and embark on this journey but have limited capacity?

For this journey to be a meaningful one, a minimum frequency and length of engagement would be necessary (i.e. once a week, for at least 6 months to 1 year).

This is neither a programme nor a strategy, but a journey of growing to become the kind of person God is looking for as you respond to what God desires in this hour.

Growth in the Word, in knowing God, and in prayer and worship in the spirit of the Tabernacle of David will take time, but it will be well worth it!

In fact, this journey is simply a start in your lifelong growth toward becoming a person of one thing and the Daniel 11:32–33 person!

Is this a worship school?

No, it is not. We do not teach people how to play musical instruments or sing, but are inviting those who already have some basic skills and musicianship.

Will I have to leave my church community to build and journey with you?

No, we do not have activities on Sunday mornings and keep them free for everyone to attend services at their home church.

However, depending on how involved you are currently at your church, you may have to scale back on some activities and involvement in order to make time to build the House of Prayer and journey with us.
