Grace is more than just forgiveness of sin, but is God’s empowerment to overcome sin. Grace more than saves us from the penalty of sin, but frees us from the power of sin.
Titus 2:11-12 says, “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age…”
Through the Cross of Jesus, God has made reigning grace available to us in this life so that we shall be more than conquerors through Him.
