The nation of Israel is God’s chosen vehicle to bring about His salvation plan here on earth. Through her history, both ancient and modern, we can see and understand how God deals with her as His covenantal people, and how precise He is in the way He deals with her.
She is also God’s prophetic time clock for His purposes throughout human history, and her return as a nation in 1948 has implications for us today.

The book of Daniel is the Old Testament equivalent of the book of Revelation where God lays out His End-Time plan from the perspective of the nation of Israel. It reveals God’s absolute sovereignty as He is the One who raises up kings and empires, and puts them down.
It also reveals Daniel as a prototype of the kind of people that the Lord is preparing and raising up in this End-Time generation.
