I had a dream where I saw youth praying with great authority and insight. They were primarily praying from the Scripture, yet Spirit-led. When they prayed, it was specific and targetted because it was with insight and understanding from the LORD. The basis was really built on the foundation of intimacy with Jesus and as a result, they knew and understood the heart of God.

Also, when they prayed, I saw many ministers of the LORD being lifted up. Many of these ministers were being pulled higher by a band that was tied around their waist. They soared really high as a result of the prayers of the youth.

The LORD began to lift up these youth to a higher level so that they can see from the LORD’s perspective. When they prophesied, things began to shift and change because they prophesied with authority, insight and understanding.

Also, when they prayed, light went forth and as result, darkness wasn’t just being pushed back, but transformed into light.

I woke up with this in my heart…

To move in this level of authority in prayer and the prophetic, there is a requirement to wait before the presence of God (Isa 40:31) and stand in the counsel of the LORD (Jer 23:18). This is not about giftedness or anointing but CONNECTEDNESS TO and ABIDING in Christ. The LORD promised that if they would wait and stand before Him, He would mark His Word in their hearts.

This cannot be hurried because there will be season of preparation (Ps 78:70–72).

In December 2015, I had a prophetic dream. In that dream, a voice that sounded like a loud trumpet said to me, “Storm is coming!”

Immediately, I saw dark clouds accumulating in front of me and huge winds began to blow. A rising tide of floodwaters swept towards me.

Suddenly, the voice said to me again, “Look! Stand on that Rock!” I looked and a Rock arose to my right. I climbed onto the Rock in the midst of the rising floodwaters and strong winds. The winds were so strong that I could not balance myself.

The voice shouted at me again, “Cement your feet on the Rock so that you may have strength to stand.” And I did so.

After I cemented my feet on the Rock, I could find strength to withstand the strong winds and storm.

As the floodwaters began to sweep past me, I saw many people being swept away. The Voice said, “Reach out your hand and pull them up to the Rock.”

And I began to reach out my hand to pull people up. But there were too many people being swept away.

Then I awoke and Luke 21:36 immediately came to mind.

Luke 21:36, “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy [i.e. may have strength] to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Things will not get better,
but we can grow stronger
we can burn hotter
we can shine brighter!

Today, the storm is here.

If we understand the biblical narrative for what is to come (Matt 24, Mk 13, Lk 21), things will not get better.

Joel chapter 2 gives us the clearest answer in how to respond in crisis!
The only solution is to SHIFT, ALIGN and RESET to God!
The key is to be REAL, DEEP and AUTHENTIC in our walk with Jesus!

Early one morning in December 2009, I was awoken by a very loud voice. The loud voice proclaimed to me,
“Behold, I am coming back quickly!
Behold, I am coming back quickly!
Behold, I am coming back quickly!”

Then, I saw a vision of many people. (I am not sure if I was in an open vision or trance.) Some were people I knew in my ministry, while others were well-known ministers and leaders in the Body of Christ.

Each person had a pair of wings in their back. However, these wings were very small and looked stunted in their growth. I was very puzzled by this sight.

Suddenly, the voice said to me again,
“Tell them that they are not ready!
Tell them that they are not ready!
Tell them that they are not ready!”

I knew then that the wings represented our level of readiness for the move of the Spirit. If the wind of the Spirit were to blow, no one was ready to soar with the Lord, because our wings were too small.

The voice then said to me again,
“Tell them that there is a requirement to prepare themselves intentionally!
Tell them that there is a requirement to prepare themselves intentionally!
Tell them that there is a requirement to prepare themselves intentionally!”

It was after this encounter that I decided to start teaching through the book of Revelation, as I felt it was crucial for our preparation.
