Prayer is the most important calling for every believer though it may not be the highest for all. Prayer is the core of every ministry though it may not be the totality for all.
God calls every believer to grow in prayer because it is the vital key to intimacy with God, an absolute essential for our spiritual well-being and God’s pre-ordained way to releasing His blessings and power.
The deepest longing of the human heart is to know and enjoy the glory of God through Jesus Christ. We are fashioned for this. Nothing in this world can satisfy the ache of our heart for encountering the glory of Jesus. Jesus asked the Father in John 17:24, “Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me.”
This is the ultimate glory of the Gospel – the privilege and the accessibility to behold the glory of Jesus!
What is intimacy with God? How can we cultivate an intimate relationship with God? Intimacy with God is not a formula to be followed ritualistically. It is about having a relationship with a true and living God, and knowing and understanding His heart. It is about encountering who He is that will result in true transformation!
